Substruct Utilities: Cycle Counts

Keep your inventory accurate year round

Keeping your inventory database accurate is an ongoing struggle. Stocking errors, theft, and cashier mistakes are just a few of the obstacles to be overcome. The Cycle Counts module of Substruct Utilities gives you the tools you need to keep your inventory accurate year round. With three different data collection methods - manual, handheld devices, and Substruct Mobile - you have options when it comes to counting your merchandise.

Cycle Counts, like the Ordering module, has a unique user interface that lets you gather data in sections, and then view, edit, and update one or more of those sections as a group. Not only does this allow you to collect multiple sections at a time, but it also makes checking for duplicates a breeze.

Cycle Counts Features

• Gather data from multiple
sources.

• View, edit, and update the
sections as a group.

• Delete sections after they have been updated, or archive them for future reference.

• Update sections as "Adjustements" (set the count) or "Addition" (add to inventory)

After you have finished collecting data, you can use the Cycle Counts Editor to compare the data collected to your Cougar Mountain database. The Editor lets you double check counts, compare them to quantity on hand, view pictures of items, and print new barcode labels. You can even view multiple sections at once and check for any duplicates.
