The profile you are trying to connect to may not connect due to regulatory issues
Trying to connect a Symbol MC wireless unit to a wireless network may result in this message: “The profile you are trying to connect to may not connect due to regulatory issues.”
To fix:
- Tap and hold the wireless icon on the start page. On an Symbol MC9090, it’s a widget in the lower right corner that turns green and indicates signal strenght when the connection is available.
- In the pop-up, select “Options.”
- In the drop-down, select “Regulatory.”
- Uncheck “Enable 802.11d”
- Tap “Save”
